FACET will be a key industry organisation linking the tourism community and promoting the development of a successful, sustainable tourism industry in Western Australia.

Our Objectives

• Promote the sustainable use of WA's cultural and natural resources for tourism;

• Provide opportunities for the community and key stakeholders to raise, discuss and debate issues regarding cultural and nature-based tourism;

• Encourage the tourism industry to deliver an authentic cultural and nature-based tourism experience;

• Foster understanding and appreciation of cultural and natural heritage through appropriate interpretation;

• Advocate and influence government, industry and the public to achieve professional, well managed, ethical conduct in tourism;

• Ensure that FACET is a self-sustaining organisation.
