Jeff Hayley Triple J Tours, Kununurra

Triple J Tours was established in 1988 and 14 years later, in 2002, Director Jeff Hayley was the very proud recipient of the FACET Golden Guide Award. Jeff’s business has continued to grow and prosper since winning this prestigious award. Jeff is still very hands-on in his business and works alongside fellow guides who share the same passion to provide an experience that has been described by one customer as ‘beyond our wildest expectations’.

Triple J Tours have 3 vessels – the 50 seat ‘Peregrine’ and 50 seat ‘Osprey’ as well as a 28 seat ‘Harrier’. All boats cruise at 50km per hour, are fully shaded and equipped with an on-board toilet and comfortable ergonomic seating. Coaches or a coaster bus collect and drop off people to their accommodation as part of the door-to-door service offered by Triple J Tours.

Not only does Triple J Tours offer tours that include coach travel through Durack country including a visit to the historic Durack Homestead Museum and spectacular views from the lookouts at Lake Argyle (Australia’s largest freshwater lake) before cruising a spectacular 55km stretch of the Ord River abundant in wildlife and birdlife back to Kununurra (or vice versa), but you can also combine a Triple J Tour with a Bungle Bungle scenic flight or a Lake Argyle cruise.

Jeff maintains that the FACET Golden Guide Award is one that is close to his heart as it is a personal award and a testament to the business he created and continues to work within for the past 26 years.
