Chantell Field is a marine biologist, science communicator and Team Leader at the Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory, one of only six underwater observatories in the world.
Through science-led storytelling, she transforms complex marine ecology into immersive visitor experiences that inspire curiosity, understanding and ocean stewardship.
Chantell’s guiding is grounded in marine research, including reef monitoring, marine pharmacology and marine mammal studies. Beyond guiding, she mentors emerging guides, contributes to environmental education programs and engages regional communities through outreach and media.
She is passionate about helping people see the ocean not only as something beautiful, but something worth understanding and protecting.
