I owned Broome Sightseeing Tours, which was a boutique tour showcasing Broome’s amazing culture and history utilizing video and images of history, pearling and culture. I sold our business in 2010 and moved to Perth for our boy’s education after 10 wonderful years as owner and operator.
I took great pride in providing the best possible experience to my clients to educate and entertain at the same time.
I felt extremely proud to win the FACET Golden Guide Award recognising my passion for the craft of tour guiding. I have had the fortune of seeing some other Golden Guide’s plying their craft and felt humbled to be in their company as a winner of the Award.
As an owner operator I felt the recognition greatly helped in the promotion of Broome Sightseeing Tours and used the logo in my marketing at all times.
Given the opportunity I would love to return to the profession at some time, in some form, as there is no role as rewarding and enjoyable
